How Cool Is That?

Clay likes to sing. I wouldn't say he sings well (yet), but he loves to sing. His repertoire includes:

• Twinkle Twinkle, Little Star
• Why Look At the Moon
• Jesus Loves Me

He also loves a good bedtime read. I've been trying hard to work in stories from his children's bible as much as possible (hard to compete with Richard Scarry's Goldbug!). Last week, though, I suggested that we read from his bible and he ran over and grabbed it off the bookshelf. He brought it back and held it up and said, "Jesus Loves Me, this I know 'cause the bible tells me so!"

30 months old and he already knows why we should read the Bible! How cool is that?
